Sweets and Snacks -- 2018
I'm just collecting my thoughts on the Sweets and Snacks Show in Chicago last month.
Yes, we produce healthy and nutritious Breakfast Cookies, which couldn't be more different than gum drops and lollipops, but the show turned out to be a good fit for us -- with lots of interest from distributors and brokers and grab-and-go locations, places where the Breakfast Cookies do well.
My favorite moment was the Women's Leadership Breakfast where guests sat down with leaders in the field. Who knew that Mars Wrigley was such a great place for women to work, offering flexibility and support during the child-rearing years? But so, of course, is Susie's Smart Cookie! (Ask Michele.)
It was also great to bike home from the convention center on Chicago's easy-to-use Divvy Bikes and to spend time with Geoff Hoagland from Busy Bees, who does such a wonderful job presenting our products at demos and shows.
Already looking forward to next year!
